Frequently Asked Questions
  • What happens after I make an enquiry?
We aim to either email, text or call you back within 24 hours of your enquiry. Always check you junk email box if you haven’t heard from us. Then you will have two choices, you can book in for your first session, or you can have a free 20 minute consultation call.
  • What happens in the consultation call?
We talk about what has made you decide to look for counselling and what you would like to get from it. This helps us see if counselling is the right thing for you. You can ask as many questions as you want in this call, and if you want to book in, you can, if not you can go away and think about it. There’s no pressure or expectation for you to book straight in at the end of the call.
  • How often do I have to come?
Sessions are offered Weekly, or Fortnightly. We can usually accommodate shift patterns.
  • Will my session be the same day and time each week?
It’s easier for us to work a diary that has set appointments but if this doesn’t work for you, we do what we can to accommodate your life patterns.
  • How much is counselling?
Depending on who you book in with, will depend on the cost. An average counselling session for an individual will be around £50-£55.
  • How long will I need to come for?
Such a good question. It really depends on what you want to get out of counselling, and how long that might take. After your initial session, your counsellor may be able to guide you in how many sessions you may need.
  • Do you offer Short Term Fixed Counselling?
If you want to have a fixed number of sessions, say 6 or 12 for example, we can offer this. The work we do with you, will be purely focused on your goal. *Short term counselling is not suitable for trauma*
